In June 2016, the Ramada Plaza Convention Center & CoCo Key Water Resort Omaha welcomed our new Waterpark Director, Linwood Williams.  Hailing from Winston Salem, North Carolina, Linwood just moved to Omaha from Minneapolis, MN where he served as Aquatics Director for YWCA of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Golf Club for the last two and half years.

Linwood began his aquatics career at the age of 16 working for the YMCA as a lifeguard and moved on to work for lakes, water parks, summer camps and eventually became an ocean lifeguard in Myrtle Beach for 6 years. Throughout the years of his lifeguarding career, Linwood has seen and dealt with many emergency situations, including performing life-saving CPR and saving multiple kids and adults from dangerous situations.  Linwood’s collective lifeguard experience has inspired him to ensure safety both in and out of the water.
